I can say, without exaggeration, that stuffed animals have been a focal point of my entire life. They’ve been dependable friends through happiness, sorrow, and grief — always there when no one else was. 🧸
What’s surprised me most as an adult is just how many people feel the same way. And so, Peace. Love. Plushies was born.
Our Story
how we came to be
In 2011, my mom’s job took her to Central Florida. I was a heartbroken high school senior about to start my final year without her. But those monthly trips to visit? They ended up being filled with more magic than I ever expected.

On one of those visits, I found a tiny Eeyore keychain tucked away in a shop at what was then Downtown Disney. Little did I know, that small plush friend would spark a lifelong love of keychain companions and take-along toys.

Eeyore was soon joined by a Safari Tigger keychain from Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I still remember being 18, setting Safari Tigger on the table at a Disney restaurant, and just feeling so happy he was there. It was simple. And special.

Having a little plush friend with me became a tradition, a comfort, and a joy. Plush keychains especially became my favorite: they traveled well, they clipped on easily, and they made anywhere feel like home.

And somewhere along the way… an obsession was born. I’ve collected all kinds of stuffed animals and plush keychains over the years. I love them all, but I’ve always had my own ideas. Plushies I wished existed. Friends I imagined and hadn’t yet met.

In 2018, I bought an embroidery machine from JoAnn Fabrics. I dabbled with it, but didn’t really dive in until 2024. That's when I designed my very first plushie using MySewNet. Being able to bring my own visions to life has been such a joy. Every little friend I make fills me with pride and excitement.

Designing plushies brought me back to art, too. Now I illustrate many of my own characters, adding another layer of personality and love to my work. I especially treasure the portraits of my longtime plush companions — the ones who’ve adventured with me, comforted me, and never asked for anything in return.
