Frequently Asked Questions

🐾 What kind of portraits do you create?

I create custom digital illustrations of stuffed animals and beloved pets — each one lovingly hand-drawn with personality and heart. Every piece is made with care (and usually a warm cup of coffee nearby).

🎨 Will I receive a physical item or a digital file?

You’ve got options! 🧸✨
At checkout, you can choose between:
– Digital only – delivered straight to your inbox
– Digital + 9x12” canvas print – shipped to your door

Canvas prints are created by our trusted print partner and mailed directly from their studio — printed with love and a sprinkle of plushie magic 💌

✨ Can I order a portrait of more than one plushie or pet?

Yes, absolutely! Whether it’s a solo star or a whole fuzzy family, I’m happy to include multiple characters in one portrait. Just share your vision and I’ll bring it to life.

💌 Can you share my portrait online?

By default, I love to share finished artwork on my Instagram, Pinterest, and website gallery to showcase the magic we’ve created together.
I may also use the artwork (or a slightly modified version) for future projects like greeting cards or stationery.

💖 If you’d prefer to keep your piece private or opt out of commercial use, just let me know — no problem at all.

☁️ How long does it take to receive my portrait?

Turnaround time is usually 2–3 weeks, depending on my current queue. I’ll keep you updated along the way, and may send a sneak peek or two from the studio.

🖍️ What do you need from me to get started?

Just a clear photo (or two!) of your stuffed animal or pet, and any details you want me to include — like a favorite outfit, pose, or backstory. The more personality, the better!

🧵 Can I request changes?

You’ll get one round of revisions included with your portrait — so if anything feels off or needs a tweak, I’m happy to adjust it for you.

🧸 Do you make custom plush toys too?

Yes! I create a small number of original plush friends based on my own designs.

💖  I saw a drawing you posted that said it was a "practice piece" — what does that mean?

Great question! Every now and then, the Plushie Crew lets Regina practice her sketching skills using photo references — kind of like artistic warm-ups!

These pieces are based on real photos (not her own imagination), and they’re part of her ongoing effort to improve techniques and explore new styles. They're never for sale, and Regina always makes sure to credit the fact that a photo was used. Think of them like cozy little art exercises — not finished plushie portraits.

🖌️ You’ll usually see them labeled:
“Practice Piece – Not for Sale. Referenced from photography.”
