These are the original four characters of Peace. Love. Plushies.
Connie Cookie is a representation of my grandmother, Concetta, who hated being called Connie and so, I called her Connie. Growing up, we would get Linzer Tart cookies from the bakery around the corner. They were our special treat. My grandma had a soft spot for sewing, teddy bears, and fun. I like to think she is the heart and soul behind Peace. Love. Plushies, and the studio manager.
The Bears, Bubbles and Biscuit, are sweet and kind and cuddly. Everything bears should be, we think.
Donut Dog is modeled after my dogs, Longley and Pongo. Not quite labs, Longley and Pongo have black fur, dark eyes, and the sweetest faces you've ever seen. I wanted a black dog keychain so I could bring them with me everywhere, but I couldn't find one. So... I made one.
Connie Cookie 🍪
Connie Cookie is the head cookie in charge — the fearless (and jam-filled) leader of The Plushie Crew. She’s an aspiring magazine editor with a love for socks in every color and pattern. When she’s not managing the studio, you’ll find her clipping photos and words for her latest collage masterpiece.
Bubbles 💛
Bubbles is the golden ray of sunshine in the crew — always cheering the loudest at live sporting events and making friends wherever they go. Full of energy and big-hearted spirit, Bubbles is the kind of plushie who can turn even the quietest Tuesday into a celebration.
Donut Dog 🍩
Donut is a spirited black pup with grey heart-shaped cheeks that give away his soft side. Officially, he’s the Plushie Crew’s Head of Security (and Unofficial Keeper of Inventory)… which mostly means “borrowing” socks, toys, and snacks when no one’s looking. But for all his mischief, he’s also the first to show up for snuffles. With Donut around, the studio gains a whole lot of heart.
Biscuit 🍪
Biscuit is the crew’s resident professional hug-giver, blanket burrower, and part-time crumb inspector. With a soft belly and an even softer heart, Biscuit believes that most of life’s problems can be solved with a cozy nap and a warm drink nearby. He’s the quiet comfort in the room — the one who saves you a seat on the couch and never judges a second (or third) snack. Gentle, loyal, and just a little bit snack-motivated, Biscuit is always ready to turn ordinary evenings into the softest kind of memory.
