If My Plushies Ran the Studio…

Have you ever wondered what would happen if the plushie crew took over the studio for a day? I’ve thought about it more than once… and let’s just say it would be equal parts organized chaos, glitter, and snacks. Here’s how I imagine their “perfect plushie day” would unfold.

If the plushie crew ever took over the studio for a day, here’s how I imagine the schedule might look:

7:00 am – Connie Cookie is awake and doing her morning stretches.

7:30 am – Connie Cookie makes the rounds to wake up the rest of the crew:

  • Donut Dog stretches, gives a big ear shake, and trots straight to the kitchen for a snack.

  • Bubbles rolls over and mumbles, “Go away.”

  • Brinkley is still snoring.

  • Biscuit is already up and on the hunt for breakfast.

  • Brio pulls the blankets over his head and snuggles back in.

  • Priscilla and Mafalda? They’re already in the studio, hard at work.

8:00 am – Time for a little breakfast.

8:30 am – The plushie crew heads into the studio, ready to start their day.

Once inside, the magic begins.

Connie Cookie is, of course, the head cookie in charge. Her sweet, calm demeanor keeps everyone on task as she assigns jobs.

Bubbles, the studio supervisor, takes a stricter approach. She runs a tight ship—stern expression, red heart sunglasses, and all. Beneath her no-nonsense look (and soft yellow fur), she makes sure ribbons aren’t tangling and safety pins always find their way back to the pin cushion.

Brinkley and Brio love sorting fabric—patterns in one pile, solids in another. If they have extra time, they’ll pair ribbons with fabrics, creating the perfect matches for future projects.

Biscuit takes charge of snacks, making sure the whole crew stays fueled for the day.

After a morning of sorting and nibbling, everyone agrees it’s nap time. Plushies curl up in their favorite spots—maybe an open fabric drawer—and snooze away an hour or two.

The afternoon is when the creativity really kicks in. ✨

  • Priscilla and Mafalda dive into concept art for plushie and pet portraits. Their sketches are always colorful, sparkly, and full of imagination before I (Regina) bring the final piece to life.

  • Brinkley and Brio welcome new plushies into the studio, showing them around, introducing them to the crew, and helping them settle—whether they’re heading to a forever home or staying on as part of the team.

By evening, the crew is tired but happy. With full bellies and a movie playing in the background, they snuggle in for a cozy night, proud of the day’s work and ready for more cuddles tomorrow.
